Apostle Miller E. Johnson, Jr., Senior Pastor, Teacher and Founder of New Life Fellowship Church Unleashed. This great visionary has a heart for carrying out the great command and commission of God. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Apostle Johnson has created a vibrant, spiritual and socially conscious ministry . Filled with a passionate heart for teaching, a love for people, and strong compassion for today's youth, this man of God continues to encourage and support ministries and youth activities within churches and communities. Apostle Johnson is the Founder and General Director of The Fellowship of Churches in Dallas, Texas and currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the Dallas Community Lighthouse, a non-profit corporation serving at-risk youth. This same passion led him to serve as Youth Director and Revival Chairman from 1997 to 2004 for the Galilee Griggs Memorial District Association of Baptist Churches.
Apostle Johnson is a graduate of the University of California State at Fullerton on an athletic scholarship with a degree in education. In 1981 he accepted his call to the ministry and was licensed and ordained to preach the gospel in 1986 under the leadership of his father, the late Pastor Miller E. Johnson, Sr. of Greater Zion Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas.
Committed to his calling, in March of 1990, Apostle Johnson organized Mt.OliveMissionaryBaptistChurch, whose name was later changed to New Life Fellowship Church Unleashed. He received his Diploma of Theology in 1995 from Southern Bible Institute School of Theology in Dallas, Texas. After15 years as a firefighter, he retired from the City of Dallas to serve as full time senior pastor. The fruit of his labor has produced over 35 sons and daughters in the ministry.
Husband and father, Apostle Johnson is married to Tina Walters-Johnson. Together they have 5 children. God has blessed him with a help meet in his ministry, a ministry with a leader focused on reaching the lost, restoring the backslider, reclaiming the castaway and reviving the body of Christ.
